"I was very excited to start this course because it led me one step closer to medicine. I have met many new friends from different countries which has been great and given me the opportunity to learn a variety of cultures. The course is going well. It’s a bit nerve racking but because of my passion for the degree, the course is worth it. Preston is a small city located very close to Manchester. Everything is walking distance so I didn’t need a bus pass, which is great because I get to save money while exercising at the same time. The university has a free gym which is quite modern. It gets busy at times, but I’ve mastered the right times to go. There are a lot of restaurants here with great food and reasonable prices, mainly Asian. So far it’s going well and I can’t wait to see what the future holds."
